RIBEYE FAJITAS

2 ribeye steaks
1 medium onion, halved, then sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced in strips
1 T Garlic powder
1 T Onion powder
2 T Butter
1 T Olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste
Garnish with chopped cilantro (optional)

Pan-sear steaks until rare (youíll do more cooking later so donít overcook them) and then set aside to cool. In a pan, heat the butter and olive oil and then throw in the onions. Cook for about 5 minutes then throw in the bell pepper. Cook until onions are golden brown. Slice the steaks into strips. Add meat to the pan along with garlic powder, onion powder, and salt & pepper. Do a quick stir fry with all ingredients for about 2-3 minutes. Careful not to overcook the beef. Serve in a La Tortilla Factory tortilla or simply on a plate with a fork! Sour cream and guacamole are great with this. See database for my Guac-lovers Guacamole recipe.
