Yep. That’s me. Hard to believe isn’t it? I was a size 24.

Good grief! Why didn’t I THINK about the size pants I was buying when I went shopping. I mean really. A number “24” on the tag is quite a bit different from a 6, 8, or 10! You’d
think I would have noticed...

Like many others before me, I began losing weight the lowcal/lowfat way. I lost my first 30ish pounds doing it the “traditional” way but I wasn’t happy with it. Constantly hungry, obsessed about my next meal and exhausted half the time. That was life throughout most of my 20’s.

Fortunately, that all changed when I began the lowcarb lifestyle. Never would I have imagined all the positive changes that would result from simply changing my eating habits. No heartburn, no fatigue, no brain fog, no heart racing, better sleep, high energy, great hair and skin, etc. Oh yeah, and weight loss. Which is actually a fringe benefit compared to the health improvements of eating a controlled carbohydrate menu.

UPDATE - November 2002

I am currently weighing in at 157 pounds and a size 10!

I’M ALMOST THERE!!!!

My goal is about 140 pounds and a size 6/8. I am so thrilled.
